| You get Express service! Our massive premix storage banks and multiple fill panels means express service for your fills. Each of our three fill panels is equipped with it's own gas booster to allow us to deliver any pressure up to 4500 psi (Oxygen to 3000 psi). Because we have several meticulously maintained high-pressure compressors, we are always ready to serve you. | |
| You save money! Our unique per cubic foot pricing means you only pay for the gas you actually receive. Plus, no more waste due to draining -- we can top off whatever unused gas remains in your cylinders and you pay only for the gas you need. | |
| You know what you are getting! All our Nitrox and Trimix blends--premix and custom-- fills are electronically analyzed twice (once during production and once during delivery) for both Oxygen AND Helium content. You receive a final third analysis when you pickup your cylinder. | |
| You enjoy the ultimate in safety! Our electric-motor high-pressure compressors use only completely non-toxic, food-grade lubricants suitable for use in high-oxygen environments. Our gases are analyzed daily for carbon monoxide (CO). At each of our fill stations, we have a final hyper-filter which allows all our fills to meet the IANTD Oxygen Compatible purity specification, which exceeds the Grade E standard. Quarterly, our gases are certified as hydrocarbon-free to Oxygen Compatible purity, maintaining the oxygen clean state of our customer's nitrox ready cylinders. | |
| You choose your cylinders or ours! We rent steel 80's, 100's, 119's, 130's, as well as aluminum 80 cylinders. We also rent double steel 119's, aluminum 40 deco cylinders, and aluminum 80 stage cylinders. All cylinders are available with yoke or DIN valves and all our cylinders are nitrox-ready. |

| Customer Satisfaction -- Your complete satisfaction is our goal. If any fill you purchase from us does not meet your expectations, you are entitled to a full refund or additional fill within 60 days of the purchase date. | ||
| Diver Certification -- You must provide documentation that you are a certified diver in order to fill a SCUBA cylinder. Additional certifications are required for Nitrox and Trimix fills. | ||
| Maximum Fill Pressure -- The cylinder will be filled to its rated maximum pressure, unless otherwise requested. | ||
| Contents Labeling -- If the fill is to be with anything other than air, the cylinder must be clearly marked with the contents. The contents must be analyzed with the actual analysis and maximum operating depth tagged on the cylinder. | ||
| Oxygen Service -- Cylinders receiving a gas containing greater than 40% oxygen must be rated for oxygen service. | ||
| Gas Quality -- All breathing gas fills are with Ultra Pure oxygen-compatible quality gases. | ||
| Hydro-Static Test -- The cylinder must have had a hydro-static test within the last five years. | ||
| Visual Inspection -- The cylinder must have had a Visual Inspection within the last 12 months. Aluminum 6351-T6 alloy cylinders only must also have had an inspection by Fill Express that included an eddy current test. (See our FAQ for details.) | ||
| Rejects -- Fill Express reserves the right to refuse to fill cylinders that it deems unsafe. | ||
| Dropoffs -- You are welcome to leave your cylinder with us for filling and return at a later time to claim. We are not responsible for cylinders left over 60 days. | ||

| Gas | Suggested Depth Range |
Maximum Operating Depth (1.6 ATA) |
Comments | |
| Air | NONE! | 219 fsw |
Air has poor decompression characteristics when compared with Nitrox. Even at very shallow depths, we think you'll feel better at the end of your trip if you dive Nitrox. The main reason divers still dive Air has been cost and availability. However, at Fill Express, our sport premix Nitrox fills are so quick, easy, and inexpensive that it only makes sense to ALWAYS DIVE NITROX.
|
|
| Nitrox 40% | 0 fsw to 80 fsw |
99 fsw | Although most sport Nitrox training places the emphasis on other mixtures, the sport diving in our area is most often in the range that is well suited to 40%. Using 40% offers you significantly better time or safety margin when compared to the other sport Nitrox blends.
|
|
| Nitrox 36% | 70 fsw to 100 fsw |
113 fsw | Lots of divers have familiarity with Nitrox 36% from their training, and this is a good all-round choice for all but the deepest sport diving.
|
|
| Nitrox 32% | 90 fsw to 110 fsw |
132 fsw | Because the MOD for Nitrox 32% is the same as the sport diving depth limit, this is the best choice when you are uncertain about the final choice of dive site.
|
|
How to Get the Best Nitrox Advantage Boats in our area announce their planned depths in advance, especially when they plan to exceed 100 fsw. So generally, unless you have been told otherwise, you can just take two cylinders of 40% to get the most advantage. If you are getting fills in advance of dive planning or uncertain about the expected depths, take a cylinder of 32% and a cylinder of 40%. That way you are prepared for any depth on the first dive, and our experience is the second dive never exceeds 100 fsw.

| Gas | Suggested Depth Range |
Maximum Operating Depth (1.6 ATA) |
Comments | |
| Normoxic Trimix | 140 fsw to 190 fsw |
219 fsw |
This is a great choice for many of our deep wrecks. With equivalent narcosis depths similar to sport diving ranges, you'll have a clear head (and a great memory) to enjoy dives like the Hydro Atlantic and the Lowrance. At Fill Express, our premix Normoxic Trimix fills are so quick, easy, and inexpensive that you'll never dive deep Air again!
|
|
| Nitrox 80% | 10 fsw to 30 fsw |
33 fsw | This is an alternative choice for a single decompression gas. Although not everyone agrees with using 80%, some believe it offers several operational advantages when compared to pure oxygen.
|
|
| Nitrox 50% | 20 fsw to 70 fsw |
73 fsw | If you are planning dives below 200 fsw, your runtimes will look a lot more attractive if you use two decompression gases. When doing your planning, look at some runtimes based on switching to 50% starting with your 70 fsw stop.
|
|
| Oxygen | 10 fsw to 20 fsw |
20 fsw | Pure Oxygen is the most effective decompression gas.
|
|
| Argon | Pure Argon is used only as a drysuit inflation gas because of its excellent thermal insulation properties. This is southeast Florida, and for most open water dives in our area, it's a bit of overkill. However, if you are using high Helium percentages or doing long runtime dives during November through March, you'll enjoy the extra warmth.
